Apple 於週一 (12/06) 發表了一篇關於在 iPhone 上使用 Apple Configurator 來將 Mac 裝置自動註冊至 Apple Business Manager（ABM）或 Apple School Manager（ASM）的文件。
適用於 iPhone 的新版 Apple Configurator 應用程式已正式推出，這並不是全新的應用程式，原先僅限 macOS 下載安裝，但現在 Apple 也已將其引入至 iPhone，用來將尚未購買的 Mac 直接配置到 Apple Business Manager 或 Apple School Manager 中，以部署企業或組織中的 iOS 設備及 macOS 設備，而無需透過 Apple 或 Apple 的授權經銷商，也不需要再另外準備一台裝有 macOS 的 Apple Configurator 的 Mac 電腦。
這對公司或組織來說是個好消息，原因是因為若設備是屬於捐贈或貢獻的，過程會稍嫌複雜。但是，只要是有搭載 T2 晶片（2018 年及後續的機型）或 Apple Silicon 晶片（M1 或後續更高機型）的 Mac 都有與 iPhone 的 Apple Configurator 相容，也就是說，上述這些機型都可以透過 iPhone 的 Apple Configurator 加入至 ABM/ASM。
你現在已可以將每台設備手動新增至 ABM/ASM 中，只要該設備是屬於 T2 晶片或 Apple Silicon 晶片，不論設備是否是從 Apple 購買、或從 Apple授權的經銷商購買，都可以透過 iOS 的 Apple Configurator 將設備加入至 ABM/ASM。
Apple Configurator 的新版應用程式已在 Apple Store 上架，只支援版本 iOS 15 以上的 iPhone。更多關於 Apple Configurator 的使用說明可以參考此篇文章。
